So if you see, individual bites but are arranged in a linear pattern, then it is likely that you have been feasted on by bugs.
Typically, also, for this specific parasite, the signs will not be evident immediately after the bite. Often there is a lag of about nine days before one can notice the bite marks or associated symptoms. What is clear however though is that the higher the incidence of biting, a significant reduction in the lag period is observed and thus the signs are more visible in a reduced period.
An intense and often prolonged existence of itchiness in the bitten area is manifested after the lag period and this is coupled by welting. What are dangerous about this lag though is the misdiagnoses that often happen for such marks are either taken as allergic reactions or scabies. And because of this, the real thing is not addressed as the patient will either be given an antihistamine to block allergic reactions or steroids.
Because of that possibility, it is therefore important to be watchful of relevant signs, which are often spots, presence of feces of these parasites, as well as an unusual sweet aroma. If any or all of these are present then it is likely that you are infested and that you have bed bug bite marks.
