1. Jim Corbett National Park, Uttarakhand

Situated in the city of Bharatpur in Rajasthan it was formerly known as the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and globally famous for its great variety of avifauna. About 400 species of birds including migratory birds coming from Siberia and Central Asia are found in this famous sanctuary. It is also home to migratory birds (such as Siberian Cranes) during the winter. It is a perfect place for birding in northern India.
