How to Get Toned Abs and Keep Them For Life

All of us have to admit that we love a man with toned abs. The women love toned abs because it makes a man look so sexy and the men love them because they get so much attention. What is not fair is that toned abs seem to come easy to some people and harder to others. That is not really the case though. It is just about knowing what to do and what not to do.

What you must do.

Watch what you eat. How to get toned abs is more about getting the fat off first then it is about exercising. You can do all the abs exercises you want to but if the muscles are covered up by a ton of fat then no one is going to see them. Ideally a man needs to get his overall fat percentage down to under 10% so not only will you see the fat come off the tummy but generally all over the body there will be an improvement.



Do carry out an all over body workout as well as abs exercises. By doing an all over body workout you will increase your metabolism which will give you more energy and most importantly it won't leave you feeling tired after.

Remember that walking, swimming and lifting weights are fantastic exercises as well. You can include these into your work out and make it fun at the same time.

What you must not do

Eat foods that contain the compound Estrogen. This compound encourages the body to store fat so it will counteract the results of a work out.

Make excuses not to work out or follow the eating plan. A work out can be implemented into the most hectic of days and don't make excuses to change your eating plan simply because all your mates are going to the burger restaurant. If you lapse on your routine once then you will laps time and time again.


Stare in the mirror every morning. The more you look at your abs the longer it will take for results to appear and you will feel as if you are doing more work. Stick to your eating plan, carry out your all over body work outs and then go about your normal day. Do not make the idea of how to get toned the be all and end all of your day. The less attention you pay to results the more quicker they will appear.
